This was the hardest trip I have ever been on, not realizing the amount of snow that had fallen during the week. A seven hour slog up to the hut in knee deep snow. After a night of no sleep, and a massive head cold, breaking a tooth on chocolate, it wasn’t much fun. But well worth the view at the hut – it was a painting in every direction. I took the shot from the balcony of the hut.
Black and white photos are hand printed in my own darkroom the old fashioned way, using fibre based paper.
